A Brief Catch-up from Sherborne
End of the week round up
I’ve been given permission to share this fabulous photo by Richard Tyler, a local wildlife photographer. It was taken last week on the Sherborne Brook. I know many of us are enjoying seeing the Barn Owls this year.

A little more gruesome, this half eaten American crayfish found in the grass by a Brook Group Supporter in an open field, presumably dropped by some predator. The lower part of the brook has an infestation really of these strange alien creatures.

Finally, I’m conscious I’ve been banging on about Long Barrows for several months now. If you can spare the time this video on Youtube gives a really comprehensive explanation of these features, better than the brief notes I have given you.
