The planning application for creating a wetland area at the top end of the Broadwater submitted by the NT has three more days of “consultation” to run (unless an extension is granted). Currently, the consultation closes on 22 October, (Wednesday).
This plan affects the Sherborne Brook and surrounding areas, partly within the Grade II listed parkland and all within the Sherborne Conservation Area. You can read the application here:
I’d suggest you read some of the comments submitted (click on the comments page), including from the Environment Agency and the CDCs own biodiversity officer. I think they are important. You should make your own mind up.
