Sherborne Cricket match for all!

In a great and innovative step, there's going to be a village cricket match on Sunday the 28th of June, starting at about 2:00pm. The organisers, Ed Richardson and Jonathan Benson, are looking to put two teams together. If you are the demon fast bowler of the East End of the village or the dig-in, stick-it-out to the end of the innings batsman from the West End of the village, please sign up for one of the other teams. I'm sure they'll take other players with slightly lesser abilities too! The rest of you can come with me and watch the exciting game and enjoy tea and cake. It'll be fun, it will bring the community together. I can't think of a nicer way to spend a summer afternoon sat on the lawn watching this cricket match. Maybe the first of many.
