The Historic Mills on the Sherborne Brook

A new venture for the Sherborne Brook Support Group's blog this evening, and this is a video hosted by YouTube that you can connect to from the link below.

Earlier today, the Sherborne Archives hosted an exhibition in the village, in the Sherborne Village Club, focused on the history of the Sherborne Brook. I was asked to provide some posters regarding the ancient and historic mills that once existed along our village brook. In case you weren't able to get to the exhibition, I posted them here with a simple commentary.

I hope that's self-explanatory. I think the understanding of these mills adds significantly to our understanding of local heritage.
